Multiplayer PSP games with one UMD to be a feature, not a hack?

The hack that enables you to play multiplayer games on the PSP with only one copy of the game really isn't a hack. A Sony ad ran on Japanese TV recently, which shows a couple of PSPs and demonstrating playing a networked game on them with a UMD inserted into only one.

Podcasting Proves Popular

Nearly 30% of the estimated 22 million U.S. adults who own MP3 players have listened to podcasts, which are audio files that have been published or syndicated online as an RSS feed. The audience for podcasts skews toward youth. The report finds that nearly half of those between 18 and 28 who own an MP3 player have downloaded podcasts.

Portable Atari 2600

benjamin heckendorn of portable playstation 2 fame has been working on a prototype for a mass produced portable atari 2600, code named phoenix. It has a 3.5 screen, takes 6 aa batteries, uses standard atari game cartridges, and will someday allow me to play hours and hours of joust and moon patrol on international flights.
